Fundraiser Extended: Thank You For All Your Support
Several people expressed interested in helping and I am still very much in need of all the help that I can get. So, I've extended the ChipIn for another two weeks, until Sept 15th.

If you have helped: thank you. If you plan to help: thank you.

My children thank you too.
Fundraiser Update: How Did I Get Here and How Can You Help?

The silver lining is, if I can raise $500 (or $475 more), by Friday, it will help cover the utilities and bring the bank account to a zero balance (trust me, these funds in no way would be covering any kind of lavish spending spree, not even for a trip to McDonald's). I am still going to be short on the rent, when the child support shows up, because of the payday loan, but not AS short as if the bank gets it all in fees, etc.

$500 is still far less than I actually need. Basically, I'm just looking to come out of the hole, enough to stand up on two feet. Right now, I am running in quicksand with no apparent way to fight, but with your help of a few dollars (a $5, $10, $100 donation) could go a long way to helping me stand on more solid ground.

Thanks so much to those who have already donated and those who have offered support in other ways. I appreciate every effort. I sincerely do. But there is still a lot to be done ($475 still needs to be raised) so I can meet this deadline: Friday, August 27th and any help in reaching it would be greatly, gratefully, and sincerely appreciated.

Thank you so much for your support.
Thanks So Much But There Is Still Much To Do
I have been lucky enough to scrounge up some funds over the last few days and do some tweaking of my actual funds.

My goal of $1000 is now down to $500, but I had to raise my deadline by a few days.

Thank you so much to those who have helped out, so far. You guys are wonderful!

To those who are thinking about it, your support would be very much appreciated.

To those who wish you could help out, but can't (Trust me, I understand), thank you for keeping me in your thoughts.
Desperate Times, Desperate Measures: Seeking Donations!
These are, indeed, desperate times and I am now resorting to desperate measures.

I hate that it has come down to this, but, I have hit rock bottom and tried everything short of outright prostitution, so I am not too proud to beg.

My kitchen cupboards and refrigerator are almost bare, I have less than 1/4 tank of gas in my vehicle, and I can hardly afford to pay attention, so I have absolutely nothing to lose by begging for help and assistance. Trust me, I lost my dignity a while back when I let some idiot convince me that he would help me.

I tried raising money, earlier, before summer hit. That was a colossal flop. It's also embarrassing, because I have seen bloggers do fundraisers for new laptops and raise twice as much money as I'm asking for ($1000) and I couldn't even raise one dollar! Obviously, I'm going about this all wrong.

Knowing that my summer income was going to dry up, I quit smoking. I quit going out with my friends. I quit drinking. I even gave up sweets and junk food. All this, in order to save money. Despite giving up fun and friendship, and pinching pennies to death, the money ran out, anyway.
